From Passionate Makers to a Creative Hardware Studio
Rythmagica began as a small, passionate team of rhythm-game enthusiasts and DIY makers.
We loved building things, experimenting with ideas, and imagining better ways to interact with the digital world.
What started as a hobby project soon grew into something much bigger —
because players around the world believed in what we were building.
The Beginning: TDC10 & TDC17
In 2023–2024, we introduced the TDC10 and TDC17 — two Taiko controllers designed from the ground up to deliver arcade-level performance at home.
Thanks to the support of the community, both products were successfully funded, produced on schedule, and have since earned strong reviews for their precision, durability, and thoughtful design.
Hearing thousands of players say “this is the best Taiko controller I’ve ever used” gave our young team the confidence to keep going — to learn faster, think deeper, and challenge ourselves to create even better interactive experiences.
Growing Into a Real Hardware Studio
With each project, our engineering, manufacturing, and design capabilities became stronger.
We learned to build reliable supply chains, design better electronics, refine firmware, and offer high-quality after-sales support.
More importantly, we understood something essential:
great products start from listening to users.
Every player’s suggestion, every bug report, every idea we received made our products better — and shaped who we are today.
A New Direction: EcoDisplay
In 2025, we took our next step with EcoDisplay —
a project completely different from the TDC series, yet driven by the same belief:
technology should be useful, creative, and accessible.
EcoDisplay was funded on Kickstarter in under a week,
proving that our vision goes beyond rhythm-game hardware.
It showed us that our community trusts our craftsmanship,
and that we can bring innovation to many other areas.

March 2024 — TDC10 Kickstarter Launch
Our first major project goes live, marking the beginning of Rythmagica’s journey into consumer hardware.
April 2024 — TDC10 Fully Funded
The Taiko community embraces the TDC10.
With overwhelming support, the project surpasses its crowdfunding goal and gives our team the confidence to push further.
May 2024 — Rythmagica.net & TDC Mate App Go Live
We officially launch our website and companion mobile app, improving firmware updates, sensitivity tuning, and overall user experience.
August 2024 — TDC10 Listed on Amazon US
TDC10 becomes available to a wider audience, expanding from Kickstarter to mainstream distribution.
September 2024 — TDC10 Listed on Amazon Japan
Entering the Japanese market — home of Taiko culture — is a major milestone and a proud moment for our team.
January 2025 — TDC17 Kickstarter Launch
Our second-generation, arcade-size controller goes live.
A bigger product, a bigger challenge — and a symbol of our growing engineering capabilities.
April 2025 — TDC17 Officially Available on Rythmagica.net
TDC17 begins shipping on schedule.
Players praise the performance, solidifying Rythmagica as a trusted creator of high-quality Taiko controllers.
November 2025 — EcoDisplay Kickstarter Launch
A completely new direction: repurposing iPad displays into a portable Retina touchscreen monitor.
EcoDisplay is funded in under a week, proving our innovation goes far beyond the TDC series.
